A legacy of 56 years...
1969
THE BEGINNING
At age 18, in 1957, Sk. Husain Jamali came to Bangalore in search of work. He got a job at a hardware shop with a salary of just 15 rupees.
He worked hard, made mistakes, got scolded but more importantly he kept on learning and exploring
After 13 years of service, he and his friends decided to start their own business in 1969.
THE FIRST SHOP
OPENS 1 YEAR LATER
With the permission of Syedna Taher Saifuddin R.A, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin R.A, and their successor Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS, he and his 2 partners named it Izzy Hardware & Tools Supplies.
They started by supplying general hardware items against order, without keeping stock.
One year later, in 1971, Izzy Hardware & Tools Suppliers opened its first shop focused on safety equipment.
COMMITMENT
OVER THE YEARS
The business grew over the years, and the partners decided to split up on understanding terms.
But Sk. Husain and his son Shabbir Jamali stayed strong as the backbone of the business.
Their commitment and hard work kept the name and legacy of Izzy Hardware & Tools Supplies alive for over 56 years.
NEW BEGINNINGS
WITH SAME VALUES
In 2020, when Sk. Husain decided to retire, his 2nd son and our founder and investor Sk. Mohammed Jamali decided to continue the legacy by opening a new store under the same name.
That’s how Izzy Hardware and Tools Suppliers 2020 came into existence
